Privacy Policy

What I collect, why, and who else touches it.

Inner Pilot is a service of The Style Paradox LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Where this policy says "I", that means the company and the one person who runs it.

What I collect

If you fill in the free intake: your name, your email address, and your answers to eleven questions about your work and experience.

If you buy The Plan Review: the above, plus your name and email from checkout, and your answers to three follow-up questions. Payment details go to Stripe — I never see or store your card number.

If you just visit the site: basic analytics — pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, what kind of device. Nothing that identifies you personally.

I don't collect your address, your phone number, your date of birth, or anything about your health, finances, or background beyond what you volunteer in the questionnaire.

Why I collect it

Your intake answers exist to produce your plan. That's the only reason they're asked for.

Your email is used to send your plan, send your review if you buy one, and send at most two follow-up emails. You can tell me to stop at any time and I will.

I don't sell your data. I don't share it with advertisers. I don't add you to a list you didn't ask for.

The AI part — worth reading

Your intake answers are processed by an AI tool to produce the first draft of your plan. I read and edit every plan before it goes out, but the drafting is assisted by AI.

The tool is Claude, made by Anthropic. Some of the work happens automatically, and some of it happens with me sitting there editing. In both cases my accounts are set so that what you write is not used to train their models — that is the default on the automated side, and a setting I have checked on the other. That is their published policy rather than a promise I can make on their behalf, and policies do change.

When I'm editing by hand, I work with your answers — not your name or your email address. Those stay in my own records and don't go into the tool.

Practically: don't put anything in the questionnaire you'd be uncomfortable having processed by software. You don't need to share anything confidential to get a useful plan — the questions are about what you're good at, not about anything private. If you'd like your answers deleted, email me and I'll delete them.

Who else handles your data

Service What it does What it sees
TallyRuns the intake formYour answers and email
StripeProcesses paymentsYour name, email, payment details
GhostHosts the site and sends emailsYour email address
Anthropic (Claude)Drafts and helps me edit your planYour intake answers, without your name or email
GoogleStores my working filesYour plan and answers

Each has its own privacy policy. I've chosen established providers, but they're separate companies and I can't control what they do.

How long I keep it

Intake answers and plans: 12 months, then deleted. Payment records: 7 years, because tax law requires it.
Email address: until you ask me to remove it.

Your rights

Email innerpilot.co@gmail.com and ask me to:

  • Send you a copy of everything I hold about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete your data
  • Stop emailing you

I'll do it within 30 days, usually much faster. You don't need to give a reason.

If you live in the European Union, the UK, or California, privacy law may give you more rights than the four above — for example, asking me to send your data in a format another service can read, or to stop using it for one particular purpose. These are usually called GDPR and CCPA rights. Ask for any of them and you'll get them.

Cookies

The site uses only what's needed to work and to count visitors. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no retargeting. I'm not running ads.

Security

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch my systems. Your files live in password-protected accounts with two-factor authentication turned on.

I'm one person, not a security company. I've taken sensible precautions, and no system is perfectly secure. If something ever went wrong I'd tell you promptly and directly.

Children

This service is for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, I'll update the date below and email anyone actively affected.
